What/Who is a Drunken Scholar?
Drunk-en Schol-ar [druhng-kuh n] [skol-er]
- Pronoun
1. An intoxicated, learned or erudite person, who also has profound knowledge in the particular subjects of geek culture.
2. A student of slaughter; pupil of pwnage (that is often given to drunkenness)
3. A student who has been awarded scholarship in spite of marked intoxication and/or disregard for traditional disciplines of learning.
I’m a student at the University of Oklahoma. An English major who is coasting through his final semester of undergrad. This blog was originally started over a year ago as a motivational tool. I want to be a writer, but like many would be artists out there, I can’t seem to finish anything. Well, a year later, I am still struggling to finish even ONE of my many projects, but I have found the discipline to keep up this blog, which I have come to realize, I love as much as any of my stories. And along the way I have met some pretty cool people out there who have inspired me to keep up the good fight. Imagine, there are those of you out there who actually LIKE to listen to my ravings. I am so sorry.
Who would have thought? I’m a blogger. Not professionally by any means. I am an army of but one. I have garnered a small yet respectful following, and for that, I thank all of you out there who enjoy visiting, and I thank those of you most who take the time to comment. It really means a lot.
